HOW PRE-ORDERS WORK

These limited edition Spar Womens’ Challenge socks are produced on a pre-order basis and will be ready for delivery one week prior to your regional race. 

COURIER DELIVERY TO YOUR DOOR

Your pre-ordered socks will be express couriered one week before your race, direct to your door by The Courier Guy. Courier fee is applied on checkout. Orders over R500 get free delivery.

COLLECTIONS

Jozi & Tshwane Spar Women’s Challenge participants can select the collection option (free) upon checkout. Your socks will be available for pick-up from the official race pack collection points ahead of your race. These Are:

  • Tshwane Collections:
    Centurion SuperSport Park: Centurion SuperSport Park, West Ave.
    27–31 July 2026: 10h00–18h00
    1 August 2026: 08h00–12h00 

  • Jozi Collections:
    Marks Park Sports Club: 1 Judith Rd, Emmarentia, Randburg, 2195.
    1 October – Saturday, 4 October 2025: 10:00 – 18:00.

WHAT IS DENIER?

In stockings and tights, denier (D) is a unit of measurement that indicates the thickness and weight of the yarn used to make the hosiery.

5-20D: ULTRA-SHEER
Extremely thin, transparent, and creates a “barely-there” or airbrushed effect. They will clearly show your skin underneath. Perfect for special occasions, summer fashion or achieving that ‘barely-there’ look.

20-30D: SHEER
Offers a light veil of colour or a “nude makeup” effect while still allowing your skin tone to show through. A perfect balance between transparency, smoothing and strength.

30-50D: SEMI-OPAQUE
Sits perfectly in the middle with a matte finish. Suitable for colder months, school, everyday wear and more durability. Almost complete coverage with a hit of skin underneath.

50-100D: OPAQUE
Thick, solid, and fully covers the skin. High denier tights give a deep, rich colour and have a matte finish. Ideal for colder months and when you need complete coverage.
